The thesis
Energy is the most fundamental enabler of everything humanity has ever built. Without it, nothing works. If every power plant stopped at once, the grid would coast for about fifteen seconds on the rotating mass of its turbines — and then the modern world would simply switch off. Everything downstream of that spinning inertia, all of it, is energy made useful.
A joule is the irreducible unit of that energy. We took the name because it names a worldview: that real progress is built from first principles up, and that the companies worth backing are the ones solving problems at that foundational layer.
